Alexander Girard: An Uncommon Vision was a pop-up experience in New York’s Meatpacking District, created by Herman Miller to celebrate the designer’s prolific career. The exhibition brought together a curated selection of archival textiles, objects folk art, ephemera, and furniture, alongside styled lounge areas and a merchandised gift shop featuring lighting, decorative objects, rugs and plants. The execution drew inspiration from Girard’s iconic interiors, including the Miller House in Colombus, Indiana, the legendary T&O Shop in New York and his personal residence is Santa Fe, resulting in a vibrant and immerse homage to his unique vision.
